I help young actors build safe, successful careers– whether they are young adults, or kids whose parents are looking for guidance.

Everything I do is in the service of that dream: consulting, speaking, producing the Hometown to Hollywood podcast, developing powerful online programs, contributing as a Backstage Expert, writing blog posts, researching, or working on my next book.

I’m a Bainbridge Island native, entrepreneur, lifelong learner, adventurer, and mother of two amazing daughters, Emmy-Award-winning actress and singer Dove Cameron, and acclaimed Hollywood vocal coach Claire Hosterman.

I love poetry, coffee, and optimism. I’m honored that many top LA acting coaches call me the leading guide for young actors, and Dove Cameron says I’m the “best person on this planet.”
